Educational programs are the
structures through which schools provide specialized learning
opportunities to address student learning needs. To develop
effective programs, school must first analyze existing programs
in light of student achievement data and desired outcomes. Based
on this analysis, schools may choose to modify existing programs,
eliminate ineffective programs, or create new programs based
on current research and understandings. Programs must undergo
continual analysis and refinement to meet changing accountability
requirements, to align to new knowledge, to address findings
from student assessment, and to meet the needs of changing student
populations. |
